A Structured Cybersecurity Leadership & Workforce Ecosystem
A coordinated cybersecurity workforce ecosystem designed to align structured education with professional development, applied learning opportunities, and clearly defined workforce pathways.
How the Ecosystem Supports Your Growth
The Hub aligns three distinct components:
Leadership Development (MiC)
Professional identity, mentorship, peer engagement, and long-term career growth.
Licensed Education (MNC-CTC)
Structured academic training and residency-based cybersecurity instruction.
Apprenticeship & Workforce Pathways (MiC Talent Solutions)
Employer-aligned work experience and recruitment services.
This coordinated structure is designed to provide clarity and long-term navigation support throughout your cybersecurity career journey.
A Structured Pathway, Not a Shortcut
Cybersecurity is a profession that values applied experience, professional maturity, and structured development.
The Cybersecurity Residency Program at MNC-CTC is intentionally designed to build that foundation through progressive, clock-hour–based instruction aligned to the NICE Workforce Framework.
The MNC Cybersecurity Workforce Hub aligns that educational foundation with leadership development and workforce engagement opportunities — while maintaining realistic expectations about professional progression.
This model does not promise shortcuts.
It does not guarantee immediate employment.
It is built on the understanding that long-term success in cybersecurity requires structured growth, practical experience, and professional discipline.
If you are seeking accelerated guarantees or immediate placement, this model may not be the right fit.
If you are seeking intentional development within a coordinated ecosystem that supports long-term advancement, the Hub framework provides clarity, alignment, and professional continuity.
The MNC Cybersecurity Workforce Hub for students/Residents
MNC-CTC participates in the MNC Cybersecurity Workforce Hub — a coordinated ecosystem operated under Minorities in Cybersecurity (MiC) that aligns leadership development, licensed cybersecurity education, and workforce pathways.
The Hub is designed to support individuals from early career exploration through professional advancement.
What This Means for You as a Student/Resident
MNC-CTC provides formal cybersecurity education through its Texas Workforce Commission–approved Cybersecurity Residency Program.
Within the broader ecosystem:
Minorities in Cybersecurity (MiC) provides leadership development, mentorship, and global professional community engagement.
MiC Talent Solutions provides registered apprenticeships, recruitment services, and employer-aligned workforce opportunities.
Each organization operates independently while aligning strategically within the Hub framework.
Your Educational Experience
As a student/resident of MNC-CTC, your enrollment covers:
Structured, clock-hour–based cybersecurity instruction
NICE Framework–aligned curriculum
Academic progress monitoring
Certificate of Completion upon successful completion
Enrollment in MNC-CTC does not automatically guarantee apprenticeship placement or employment. Apprenticeships and workforce placement services are administered separately through MiC Talent Solutions.
Designed for Transparency
The MNC Cybersecurity Workforce Hub maintains clear boundaries between:
Community programming
Licensed occupational education
Apprenticeship and employment services
This structure ensures regulatory compliance, operational transparency, and clarity for students and partners.
IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION
MNC-CTC is a Texas Workforce Commission–approved career school. Minorities in Cybersecurity (MiC) provides non-instructional leadership programming. MiC Talent Solutions administers apprenticeship and workforce services. Participation in community programming or workforce services does not constitute enrollment in MNC-CTC unless a formal Enrollment Agreement is executed.
