Connecting Global Community to Cyber Workforce Pathways
A cybersecurity workforce ecosystem designed to help you turn education into real-world experience, leadership growth, and meaningful cybersecurity career pathways.
One ecosystem designed to support your growth through leadership development, hands-on apprenticeship experience, and cybersecurity education.
The Cybersecurity Workforce Hub is part of the broader cybersecurity workforce ecosystem that supports students and residents as they move from education into real-world cybersecurity careers. The Hub connects leadership development, education, and apprenticeship pathways to help participants build professional readiness alongside their technical training.
For students and residents enrolled in the Mary N. Chaney Cybersecurity Training Center LLC (MNC-CTC)Cybersecurity Residency Program, the Workforce Hub serves as a bridge between learning, experience, and workforce engagement.
The Hub brings together three complementary components:
Minorities in Cybersecurity (MiC) — Leadership development and a global professional community that supports connection, growth, and long-term career advancement.
Mary N. Chaney Cybersecurity Training Center (MNC-CTC) — Structured cybersecurity education aligned to workforce competencies and delivered through approved instructional programs (license pending).
MiC Talent Solutions — Apprenticeship programs, contract-to-hire engagement, and workforce pathways aligned with employer needs and industry demand.
The Workforce Hub connects these components, helping students and residents engage with education, leadership development, and workforce pathways in a coordinated way.
What the Workforce Hub Is (and Is Not)
The Cybersecurity Workforce Hub is not a school, training program, or employer. It does not deliver instruction, award credentials, or guarantee employment.
MNC-CTC remains solely responsible for all curriculum, instruction, academic requirements, regulatory compliance, and student records related to the Cybersecurity Residency Program.
Employment decisions are made by employers, and participation in Hub-related opportunities does not guarantee job placement.
Why the Workforce Hub Matters
Cybersecurity careers require more than technical knowledge. Employers look for professionals who demonstrate leadership, communication, adaptability, and real-world experience.
The Cybersecurity Workforce Hub exists to help students and residents:
Build professional confidence and identity
Gain exposure to real-world cybersecurity environments
Develop leadership and workplace skills alongside technical expertise
Navigate apprenticeship and career pathways with greater clarity
How the Workforce Hub Supports You!
Participation in the Cybersecurity Workforce Hub provides students and residents with access to resources and opportunities that complement MNC-CTC’s primarily online, Texas Workforce Commission–approved (pending) Cybersecurity Residency Program.
Through the Hub, students and residents may benefit from:
Connection to a broader cybersecurity community and professional network
Leadership development, mentorship, and coaching opportunities through ecosystem partners
Exposure to apprenticeship and career pathways aligned with employer needs
Increased understanding of workplace expectations and professional readiness
The Workforce Hub is designed to support your growth beyond technical skills—helping you prepare for long-term success in the cybersecurity profession.
