Each stage blends hands-on learning, live instruction, and leadership development—preparing you to enter and grow within the cybersecurity workforce ready to lead, defend, and make an impact.
Pre-Apprenticeship Readiness Period (60 Clock Hours)
Delivery Format: Hybrid (Self-Paced Research + Synchronous Live Discussions)
Duration: 3 months
The Pre-Apprenticeship Readiness Period serves as the entry point into the MNC-CTC Cybersecurity Residency Program, providing 60 clock hours of structured orientation, self-assessment, and foundational exposure to cybersecurity principles. This phase is designed to evaluate student readiness and align individual strengths with potential specialization tracks within the cybersecurity field.
During this period, students/residents complete a career-alignment and personality assessment using MNC-CTC’s proprietary AI chatbot advisor to identify aptitude, preferred learning style, and cybersecurity role fit. Participants explore curated open-source learning materials covering basic cybersecurity concepts, digital ethics, network fundamentals, and risk awareness. Live discussion sessions reinforce digital professionalism, communication, and leadership expectations.
Upon completion, each student/resident develops a personalized learning plan and receives targeted guidance for transition into Year 1/Phase I: Foundations of Cybersecurity and Leadership. Successful participants are awarded the Certificate of Completion – Pre-Apprenticeship Readiness, verifying 60 clock hours of guided learning and professional preparation.
